Where to get chefs award wow
Quick Facts. Comments Comment by jonrock 74 awards are needed to buy all Northrend recipes. Another are needed to buy the chef's hat. Comment by Magito would be nice for those of us that have lots of these rewards left over to be able to exchange them for the chefs awards even if it is Comment by Unrage If you are planning to farm them, you should do the daily cooking quests in Dalaran Alliance Version , but you should also do the fishing ones, since they give you a Bag of Fishing Treasures when completed, and it has a small chance to give you a Waterlogged Recipe , a quest item which awards 5 Dalaran Cooking Award.
Anyone know why? Comment by I just recently noticed that I got more Awards from each quest than i should. It seems that every quest now gives you one more award than the quest says. Or is there a guild perk in play i'm not aware of? But you will never see it in the bag, it is added to your Currency Tab once you open the bag. You now have Epicurean's Award and 0 Ironpaw Token. The Cataclysm Daily cooking quests in major cities reward Epicurean's Award , and all Cataclysm cooking recipes sold in the major cities need Epicurean's Award to be purchased, including Imported Supplies.
Comment by finnishboy can u use Chef's Award to buy dalaran recipes? Comment by julienpdx This is a comment based on the MoP database article entry which, for some reason is inappropriately merged with the live version. All pre-MoP cooking recipes requiring a purchase will use this new currency. This changes a few things.
For one, new characters who are after the cooking achievements will definitely want to start doing these dailies as soon as possible due to the high amount total to purchase all recipes. Those of you who haven't already purchased "Chef's Hat" will soon be able to do so without doing Dalaran's dailies in the meantime. It still isn't clear if, since both the Capitol cities and Dalaran will offer the same reward for their dailies, if you will not able to do both on the same day. Comment by Tyrrannus If one is looking to dump a bunch of these awards, having previously built up a stash and not needing to purchase any more recipes, goods, or the Chef's hat, what is the most cost-efficient way to convert these to gold?
Is it buying the crates of meat and selling or cooking and selling them or is there a better way? Is there a way to transfer these between characters? Comment by Linkcisco About cooking dailies in Stormwind, Darnassus or Ironforge: Some days the daily of a city can give 2 Epicurean's Award while the other cities give just one.
Is a good idea, if you are interested in farming, check the rewards to get more Awards per day since you can complete the daily of just 1 city I've seen 2 cities giving 2 Awards on the same day, also I've seen days with all the cities giving just 1 Award. Same thing for cooking levels rewards, some cities can reward you with 1 level and other with 2 on the same day valid for fishing too.
In dalaran you always get 1 Award from the bag and 1 or 2 Awards as direct reward Mustard Dogs! So you get 2 or 3 Awards per day from dalaran. Comment by stym If you are farming these to grab all of the purchasable recipes in Dalaran and your Capital say, for the Iron Chef achievement , be patient.
Post by frozenthorn I searched both wowhead and cata. I can see what its used for but don't know how many dailies or other ways there are to obtain them. Found 1 quest in SW that as you fish 5 catfish for 1 award, are there others? Post by This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Post by jhuntin1 There are 5 different cooking dailies available in Stormwind there is a new achievement under Cooking that lists them. Ah, good to know. I'm capped at so I didn't know you could get the point if you weren't capped. Post by meth Was it ever announced that the "Obtain Cooking Award" achievement will be reset with this patch?
I was almost done and today I had to see that the counter was back to two. But at least it seems that the extra award from the reward bag counts too.
I'm wondering if there is a cap on the awards this time around to prevent us from stocking up on them. Post by Pachuca Yep, 10 is the cap. Try hovering over an item with a Justice Point cost. Post by Azrile I can add a couple things 1. You can get he new cooking 'points' even far below the level cap, which seems strange.
